All senior citizens provide us with an important and critical link to the past. Floral Park seniors are also shaping the present and planning for the future. Their spirited activities bring knowledge and vitality to our entire Village.
Floral Park Chapter – AARP #5224
Meetings: Third Monday of each month
When: September through June
Time: 1:00 pm
Where: Floral Park Recreation/Pool Building
Requirements: Must be a member of National AARP and must submit chapter application.
Activities: Provide information of interest to people over 50, organize special events and trips.
Floral Park-Bellerose Senior Citizens

Time: 9:00 am to 2:00 pm
Requirements: A resident of the village of Floral Park or Bellerose and must be over 60 years of age.
Activities: The center provides ceramics, craft classes, dancing, art, and discussion groups. Periodic day trips are planned and attended by this group. Musical shows are staged in the Spring and at Christmas. Birthdays are celebrated monthly within the year. Our desire and objective is to provide good fellowship and stimulating activities for our seniors in the area. Supported by the Town of Hempstead Department of Senior Enrichment and the Inc. Village of Floral Park.

Activities: The club provides a meeting place for recreational activities and good fellowship and repairs minor appliances for senior citizens such as lamps, radios, toasters, etc.
Sixty Plus
Sponsored by Catholic Charities. Meet in Franklin Square. Transportation available to and from meeting.
Hot lunch provided. New activity at every meeting.
