The Village is seeking a candidate to fill a position in Village Hall as an administrative assistant.

Responsibilities include managing insurance policy renewals, human resource/benefit enrollments, policy training coordination, and records management.

Skills – must be proficient in Excel, Word and Powerpoint programs and have a positive attitude in working with public as well as having organizational skills.

⇒PART-TIME SCHOOL CROSSING GUARD 

The Village of Floral Park is seeking part-time school crossing guard.   This position entails directing traffic and crossing pedestrians at key intersections.

Candidate must possess good judgment, be available mornings and/or afternoons, and pass a hearing exam administered by Nassau County Civil Service.  Hourly rate is $15.15.

Be aware that all applicants’ skills, experience & residency will be considered first, so please make sure you include this information on the application. Completed applications will be accepted beginning January 4, 2019 at Village Hall, One Floral Boulevard.  Working papers (only if under the age of 18) and proof of physical are required with the application.

Up-to-date lifeguard certification, current CPR & first aid certifications, working papers (under
