This past Labor Day, another successful season ended at the Floral Park Pool. One of the things that makes the Floral Park Pool such an enjoyable experience for pool patrons is the beautifully landscaped pool grounds. That’s no accident – landscaping efforts at the Pool are led by Don Haug.

Don Haug is a lifetime resident of Floral Park. He started working for the Village at the Recreation Center in 2009. Don is an avid bird watcher an expert gardener. Every spring Don transforms the Pool and Recreation Center into a garden oasis with beautiful flowers. Don oversees the process of planting and weeding through out the season to the delight of all who see his gardens.
