The Department of Public Works is excited to announce our 2024 road improvement project currently underway. Public Works has worked closely with National Grid on paving agreements where gas lines have been replaced. Those roads include Cisney Avenue, Orchid Court, Gilbert Court, Kenneth Court, Pansy Avenue (from Floral Boulevard to Crocus Avenue), Gladiolus Avenue (from Atlantic Avenue to Mayfair Avenue), Daisy Avenue, Primrose Avenue (from Floral Boulevard to Mayfair Avenue), Mayfair Avenue (from Calla Avenue to Primrose Avenue), and Crocus Avenue (from Pansy Avenue to Primrose Avenue). Other roads being paved this summer are Iris Avenue, Violet Avenue and Verbena Avenue (from Tulip to Carnation Ave) along with the Holland Avenue parking lot and the Library parking lot. Projected completion is before Labor Day (weather dependent).
